Overview: Over 34 million Americans are diagnosed with diabetes, with individuals from low socioeconomic backgrounds disproportionately affected by Type 2 diabetes.

Problem: How might we develop an app tailored to the needs of patients with lower health literacy while assisting them in proper self-management techniques?

Solution: Spearheaded a variety of needs analyses and methods (lit review, competitive analysis, interviews, surveys, concept testing) to understand the experiences of Type 2 diabetes patients.

Impact: Mobile app developed and tested with patients and providers
