Overview: EQRS is a data collection application mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to allow dialysis facilities and transplant facilities to collect and report patient data for those with end-stage renal disease.
Problem: EQRS is an outdated application with cumbersome navigation and tedious workflow.
Solution: Built personas and empathy maps to further understand the users and conducted interviews/contextual inquiries to identify their most pressing needs and pain points in the system.
Impact: 66% of design recommendations immediately developed, spanning navigation, onboarding flows, and overall task efficiency.
